1. Vang Vieng:

We can say that Vang Vieng is “discovering paradise” attracting millions of backpacker from all over the world. With a beautiful landscape considered as the second one in Laos, Vang Vieng – a riverside town where young people converged to conquer the rapids or  drunk alcohol together.

2. Pha That Luang

Pha That Luang is the name of a massive gilded beautiful stupa in the Vientiane capital, the important monuments and great pride for the people of “the country of millions of elephant”.

4. Si Phan Don

Si Phan Don is a vast archipelago located in the southernmost tip of Laos, where the peaceful Mekong river flows through Khone  before joining the big river in Cambodia. With 4.000 different islands, Si Phan Don gives travelers a extremely beautiful picture.

7. The Tham Kong Lo cave:

Cave Tham Kong Lo is considered as one of the most interesting sights when visiting in Laos.
Thanks to 7km South Bun river flowing through the 90m cliffs , Tham Kong Lo appeared extremely excited but not “creepy”. Remember to bring your flashlight fully charged electric and at least a friend of you.

8. Kuang Si Waterfall:

Situated in the list of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world collection, Kuang Si waterfalls spanning just 50 meters gently enough to attract many tourists.

9. Vieng Xai:

Built in Hua Phan province in the 1960s, Vieng Xai is one of the most spectacular underground world, a place of refuge during the war in Laos.
With a capacity of up to 23.000 people, it has necessarily military barracks, theaters, hospitals, shops and much more. Try a visit Laos to discover a “Cu Chi Tunnels” which is different from in Vietnam.

10. Mekong River:

Being the largest river in Southeast Asia ( 4.350km length), originating from China and passing through 5 countries in the region including Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, the Mekong river offers travelers the landscape like Amazon in South America.
You can sweep heavy red boat on the water from Huay Xai to Luang Prabang to get coastal views and can go far more to admire the river cuts through the dense jungle. It is a beautiful and fascinated scenery as one in the fairy tale.
